Final week of Leg 5 and with leg winners already decided the rest of the fleet try to get into Boston within the allotted time.
A brief update
Halfway up Virginia’s problems continued and there were also run agrounds for The Drog’s Ballacks, The Drogs, A Smoked Cheese Pig, and Honeyballs.

The penultimate week of this Leg sees crewmen Lampard and Delap fall over the side of over half the boats in the fleet - far too many to mention individually. This affected virtually all crews as they were involved one way or another in fishing them out of the water - however a handful of boats did make it into Cape Town with a week to spare.
