hodol kutkut and Getafe King Life battled for the leg win on tack 1 - with hodol kutkut prevailing to pick up the 15 points. Congratulations to baganboy and his crew who have done all they can in their attempt to close in on the race leader.

5 more completed the course on tack 2 and another 6 more by the end of tack 6.

The final 2 boats made it home on tack 8 and 9 with Naked Pirates bringing up the rear but still finishing with time to spare.

Pool B

It was 3rd place in this pool that was being raced for - and what a race it was with 5 boats crossing the line in quick succession on tack 2 - being separated by only 9% on their tack distances - Atlético Tcf just having the edge.

6 more finished by tack 6 with Mid Table Struggler on tack 8 (having run-aground near Selsey on tack 5) and finally The Drog’s Ballacks on tack 12.

Pool C

3rd place again was the highest the remaining boats in this pool could hope for - and again it was very close. 2 boats on tack 1, 5 closely bunched on tack 2 and a further 2 on tack 3.

Then tack 4 and 5 had the last 4 boats cross the line. Great racing there skippers!

Pool D

The close racing wasn’t over as Isaiah Forty:31 lead this pool home on tack 1. Well done to WHATEVER and his crewmen and a well earned 15 points.

Tack 2 and At it again crossed the line in 2nd with 3 boats on tack 3 and a further 6 on tack 4.

Tacks 7, 8 and 9 brought 3 more into port and in the spirit of the event all the crews stayed on the dock to welcome home Tramp Attack who motored in when he became the only boat in the fleet who failed to finish within the alloted time having run-aground on the Isle of Wight on tack 10.

So as the crews attempt to get their land-legs back after many months at sea the Race Committee will put the final standing together and check for any rule violations now the boats can be inspected.
